"Generosity in Action" is a designated fund managed by Philanthropic Ventures Foundation in Oakland California.
Checks can be made payable to "Philanthropic Ventures Foundation" and sent to the address below. Please put "Generosity in Action - ( you can name a specific project if you wish)" in the memo line on your check. PVF will receive the funds, assign them to the Generosity in Action account and provide a receipt to the donor confirming that their donation is tax deductible.

Donations by check should be mailed to the address
to the right.
Confirmation letters for checks of $250 and over will be sent from
Philanthropic Ventures Foundation. For donations under $250 your canceled
check will serve as a receipt for IRS purposes.
Donations via the internet are tax-deductible as they are made to Network for Good - a qualified 501(c)3
Donations can be made over the internet directly to PVF/Generosity in Action.
Note: Once at PVF/Donate page, locate the section "Designated Funds"
- click the button for "Generosity in Action" - and specifiy
the project in the text box."
